Jizo rice bowl
Origin of place name
Speaking of Yamada, the Jizo (the amplification house) is famous, and many worshipers visit the large festival of Jizo in April and July every year. The building was built by Mr. Omiya in 1554. The Jizo was designed to kill the spirits of the six masters of Kikuhime, who were killed in the insurrection of the priests of M. Omiya. It is said.
There is a Jizo bowl in Haruna attached to this Jizo. It is a junction that connects Yamada with Okagaki-cho, Onga-gun, and is the border between Kanayama and Shiojiyama in Yotsuka.
At present, the prefectural road passing from Munakata City to Onga-gun is being opened, but this pottery has long been called Yurinomine. Probably, it may be the name from the time when Yamada was counted as one of the fourteen towns.
