1985 Munakata Municipal Cultural Property Survey Report No. 8 / "Jogagaya Burial Mound II"

Shirogaya Burial Mounds Group (Gyugata Hiukun) We are investigating the results of the second survey and the survey of the Saburo Rodonogami ruins (Saburo Ramen no Iezuki). The Jogagaya burial mound group is a report of the second survey carried out by the Munakata Municipal Board of Education 8 years after the first survey conducted by the Fukuoka Kyoiku University excavation. From March 1983 to January 1984, 33 circular mounds distributed on the hill of Otawara (Daito Haru) were investigated. Tumulous mounds consisting of 61 groups were examined for primary and secondary, and the burial mounds appeared in the second half of the 5th century, peaked from the first half of the sixth century to the middle, it turned out that the end of the sixth century will end . There are many weapons and jewelry in the excavated remains, but the saw (saw) excavated from the No. 56 mound is very rare. At the Saburodorodonogamu ruins, five tombs and one stone monument (garbage) that were blessed in the 6 th century were investigated.
