Places and times seen in Munakata city

In Munakata it is a traveling bird, and in the autumn migration period, there are times when you see a figure resting on grasslands such as ridges of paddy fields and banks of rivers. If anything, I often see it in the spring rather than autumn.

Characteristic

Male is a breeding ground in a thick voice, "Mr. Gijitszbjak, Zubiak" while flying around, flicking while producing a sound "Gogogogogo" and making a display flight. Another name "Raikage"

Habit

They fly to grasslands, meadows, agricultural lands, etc. Living in a single bird. I insert a beak in the soil and eat earthworms etc.

Summer birds in the Chubu region plateau and northernmost of Aomori Prefecture, and traveling birds in other areas.
Breeding in Primorsky, Hokkaido, etc. and overwintering on the eastern and southern coast of Australia.

It is quite difficult to identify Tasugi, Tsukigoshigi, and Hariosakigi at observation sites.
