Places and times seen in Munakata city

It is a traveling bird in Munakata, and it can be observed around the island part, the coast at the time of spring and autumn migration (around May, September to October). However, it is often found in the spring migration period.
Because we like dark places, observation opportunities are limited.

Characteristic

Total length 12 cm. It is the same color in both sexes.
The top of the head is dark gray brown, the top from the back is green brown, with 1 or 2 yellow-white wing bands. The eyebrows are white and clear, the front looks buffy. Dysprosia is dark brown. The underside of the body is dirty and yellowish. The beak is dark brown, with the exception of the tip of the shoulder, it is meat brown, and its feet are bright in color.
His voice is "Heartsy" and it has a high voice, the sounding is short and it sings "Pippi".

Habit

They inhabit the coniferous forest zone and needle wide mixed forest from flatlands to mountains. It is often observed in the subalpine belt.
In mushrooms that inhabit Japan, especially prefer living in dark places. In breeding grounds, they actively move about in the forest in territory and on shrubs and eat insects and spiders.

distribution

As summer birds fly to the northern part of Chubu and Shikoku. In other areas it becomes a traveling bird. There is a possibility of breeding even in Kyushu. In the time of migration, you can observe it even in various plains.
Breed in the Japanese archipelago and overwinter in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra Island, Java Island, Bali Island and others.

Other

It is very similar to Usui Musikui (Amur Musikui, Kitamushi Quay). The biggest difference is the bark.
