Places and times seen in Munakata city

In Munakata it is a traveling bird, and it can be observed in fallow fields, paddy field, riverbed grassland etc throughout the city at the time of spring and autumn migration (about April, around September).

Characteristic

It is smaller than a sparrow with a total length of 13 cm.
The male and summer feathers are black from the head to the top of the body, the underside of the chest below the chest is orange and the lower abdomen is white. Some solids have a wide white part and a wide orange part. Wings and tails are also black, rain cover, part of the wind cut is white and white spots are conspicuous. Waist, the head tube is white.
The female is brown from the head to the upper surface of the body and is plain. The brown spot is light brown but unclear. Beaks, feet are black.

Habit
