Munakata is a lost bird, although it is rarely observed in Munakata Okinoshima, it can not be observed constantly.
Characteristic
Total length 14 cm, slightly smaller than swallow. It is the same color in both sexes.
From the forehead the top of the body is dark blue shiny black. The chest is reddish brown from the forehead, bamboo, and its belly is gray. The tail tube is dark brown and the feather edge becomes light brown, looking like scales. The tail is short and there is a small white spot. At rest, the wing tip slightly crosses the tail end. The beak and leg are short and black.
Habit
