Places and times seen in Munakata city
It is a resident bird in Munakata and can be seen all year round around the waterside of the whole city. However, the number is small compared to Hakusekirei and Seguro Sekirei.
Characteristic
Total length 20 cm. Slightly smaller and smaller than Seguro Sekirei.
Males are gray from the top of the head and in summer feathers the throat is black from the eyebrows. Vulgaris, chin line white. The lower side below the chest, the waist is yellow and the side is white. The wings, the tails are black, and the inner valve of the 3-row windbreak is white.
In females, the throat is usually white from the groin, but in rare cases the black area may be thin. The legs are flesh colored.
There is not much difference between male and female in winter feathers.
The noise of the earth screams "chichin chitin" and has a voice quality higher than that of the snail.
Habit
It inhabits mountain valleys and streams, rivers, beaches, lakes, etc. from flatland. They act with one bird during the breeding season. Swing the tail feathers up and down, mainly walk along the waterside and mountain trails and eat insects and spiders.
