Places and times seen in Munakata city
In Munakata, it is an abandoned bird, it can be seen throughout the year with satoyama throughout the city, in the vicinity of the garden, forest in the park in the city area, garden tree in the residential area etc.
Characteristic
Total length 12 cm. It is much smaller than the sparrow, and it is the same color of both sexes.
From the forehead the body is yellow-green, from the throat to the throat, from the buttocks to the bottom the yarn is yellow, the chest to the belly are grayish brown, and the side is vine brown. The subgroup differs slightly in the color of the abdomen.
There is a white eye ring and it stands out. The cheek line is dark brown from the eyes, and the base is blue gray. The foot is grayish brown.
Habit
It has a wide range of habitat from residential area garden trees to mountainous forests. Eat insects, spiders, nuts and so on. Sometimes I smoke flower nectar. Apart from breeding season, I live in a small group of about 20 to 30 birds.
Yamagara and tits often make mixed groups.
distribution
It is distributed all over Japan as a stray bird or bird. In the southern part of Sakhalin in Hokkaido it becomes a summer bird.
It is distributed in the south of the Korean Peninsula, China, Taiwan, the Philippines (Luzon).
Other
As there is the word "jogging", when resting we put our bodies together and stayed in branches and wires of trees in the state of Gyu-kyu. I like vegetable and cherry blossom dense, and I often come to smoke sucking. The word "plum blossoming in a plum" is the result of mistaking the sarcophagus and meadow. For this reason, many people mistake Ugisu and Mejiro.
