In Munakata it is a winterbird, from around October to the end of April, it can be observed normally in satoyama in various places in the city, park forest, farmland, shrubland area around Tameike.
Characteristic
It is about 25 centimeters in length, same size or bigger than thrush. Male and female are almost same color.
The males are dark grayish brown in their heads, on the upper side of the back, from the belly to the side gray or grayish brown. The wind, the tail is dark gray brown, and there are white spots on the tip of 2 to 3 outer tail feathers. The abdomen center is white.
Females are olive brown with parietal top, brown to light brown with throat, grayish brown spots.

Habit
