Places and times seen in Munakata city
It is a traveling bird in Munakata, and it is rare to observe it at the time of autumn migration (April to May, November).
It has been recorded that it has been observed on Munakata Okinoshima.
Characteristic
About 15 cm in total length. Her color is the same.
From the face to the upper surface of the body is olive brown, on the lower surface of the body below the eyelids and palpebral region is pale yellowish, with two black bands on the chest, and the upper chest is T-shaped. The wings are black, medium and heavy rain covered, windy base, white or pale yellow spots near the tip, and they appear as wing bands. The central tail feather pair is olive brown, the outermost two are white and the others are black.
The bowl is dark brown and thin, and the lower bowl is light brown. Legs are flesh colored.
Habit
We inhabit dark forest of flatland, forest road, farmland, swamp near the person, bamboo pole. They often act with one bird during the breeding season. While swinging the tail feathers, walk on the branches and the ground to eat insects, land shells and spiders.
distribution
Fly as a few traveling birds or winter birds. There are records in Hokkaido, Shikoku, Kyushu, islands on the Japan Sea side, and the southwest islands.
It inhabits the Manchuria, the Korean Peninsula, China, Indochina Peninsula, Borneo, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra Island, Java Island, and the Persian Gulf south of the Indian subcontinent.
