Although it has a pattern peculiar to the species in the whole, the white part of the face and the underside of the body takes a slight grayish blue color. Dark brown and brown on the upper side, fine patterns and white patterns are finely and complicated. The white feather edges of the back and shoulder feathers overlap and appear as two lines, and they are conspicuous even when stationary or at the time of flight. Habit
It flew to mountain streams, mountain rivers, wetlands, hillsides and so on. There are many flights with one bird, but there are cases where several birds inhabit the place where hot spring water enters into the ice that ice it in Hokkaido. Eating habits are the same as those of Tahagi and Yamasigi.
distribution
It is a winterbird and is recorded almost in the whole country, but it can only be seen rarely in the Nansei Islands.
Other
Litchfishes are a kind of birds that are difficult to distinguish from having poor opportunities to observe stuffily, due to the similarity of rags and beaks. Since most of the species of Shirogi which can be seen in Munakata is Tashigi, there is almost no mistake as a Tashigi when seeing the species. However, it is necessary to pay attention because there are cases where a few, even a few of them will fly.
