Hirayama Tenmangu Shrine is located on a hill overlooking the village of Hirayama. The size measures 9.8m around the breast height, 20.6m around the root, and 31.5m in height. The trunk branches off at 3m above the ground. It is reported that in the late Meiji period, it was almost destroyed by insect damage, but the current vigor is extremely vigorous, and the age of the tree is estimated to be about 400 years.
