Copper sword excavated from Kurohara relics of Kurohara, Munakata city, Fukuoka prefecture

Description
In Showa 60 and 61, in the emergency investigation ahead of the present Munakata Yurikkusu construction, I have excavated the tomb of the Yayoi period. The shape of the tomb is a grave digging called soil grave. Bronze swords were excavated in a complete shape from a 2.9 × 1.9 m rectangular digging, and are 28 cm in length that are classified as fine copper gems. The person buried in this grave may have been the leader who supervised the mura group in this area in the middle of the middle Yayoi period (about two and a half years ago from now).
