The excavation survey was carried out at the Tomihara Umeki ruins in 1983-1984 with the development of the residential land of Watari-kai. It is a complex ruins consisting of tombs and settlements that have been held for a long period from the Yayoi Period to the Middle Ages, where 26 tombs built during the Kofun period from the latter half of the 4th century to the 6th century, the medieval road tombs and tombs in the tomb I report on the reused waste. It is an important ruin in considering the tomb system of the Munakata during the middle of the Kofun period.
