Places and times seen in Munakata city

Munakata is a stray bird and can only be observed rarely. There is an observation record on Munakata Okinoshima.

Characteristic

The total length is 13 cm. It is the same color in both sexes.
The black part of the head has no gloss. The cheeks and the underside are light gray and the top is grayish brown. The clouds of heavy rains and winds are white, the contrast of black and white is also stronger towards the hushroggara. The next wind cut seems to occasionally look like a white panel.

Habit

They prefer to live from low mountains to coniferous trees and submarine forests. Living in a small group except breeding season. Unlike Higara which likes branches, we eat near the trunk of trees. It pierces branches and trunks and predators such as insects and spiders. I also eat tree nuts.
"Zipi Zupee" and "Che chece" and strikes with "Chitch Jee Jae."

distribution

It lives in the north of Kyushu as a remote bird. In Hokkaido it also lives in the plain forest.
It lives extensively in the coastal area of the Yellow Sea, northeastern China, the Eurasian continent from the Kamchatka Peninsula to France and the Scandinavian Peninsula (excluding polar North).

Other

It is necessary to distinguish from the habitat galla (there is no observation record in Munakata, only in Hokkaido in Japan).
