Places and times seen in Munakata city
Munakata is a lost bird and it is very rarely seen. It is an individual that stops at the time of migration, and the encounter is rare. There is an observation record on Munakata Okinoshima.
Characteristic

Habit

distribution
As sea lions or birds, we live in the alpine mixed forest, coniferous forest, pine pine belt of the alpine belt from Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu. It moves to low mountains in winter and sometimes in coastal areas in Hokkaido. At the time of migration, there are records in Sado Niigata Prefecture, Ishikawa Prefecture Kurakurajima, Izu Ooshima and so on.
It is distributed in a wide range excluding the extreme north of the Eurasian continent and the alpine belt.
