Places and times seen in Munakata city
It is a traveling bird in Munakata, and is rarely seen on the coast from Kamisu to Kanesaki during the spring and autumn migration. Munagro is the same, but there are few opportunities to see it compared to Munagro.
Characteristic
The total length is 29cm.
In Natsuha, the belly is black from the face. The top surface is whitish and has black and white spots. The lower tail tube is white from the lower belly. The coral is thick and black. The legs are black. When flying, the waist is white and the black wings are conspicuous on the bottom.
Fuyu is grayish brown on the top and has white spots. The lower surface of the body is whitish and there are light brown spots on the chest.
Habit
Many live in flocks, but when they eat, they act by themselves, mainly eating spooks, and also eating crustaceans and insects.
distribution
It is a traveling bird, and it is a winter bird in the south of the Kanto region. It is an area that can be seen all year round on the Ariake Sea coast in northern Kyushu.

Similar to Munagro, but Munagro prefers relatively freshwater and Daizen tends to prefer seawater.
