There are habitat areas in several places such as Oshima, Kanazaki coast, Eguchi coast etc. The stems and leaves are characteristic of seaside nature and there are a lot of plucked hair thickly. White flowers with fragrance gather at the top of the stem and bloom from May to August. Fruits are corky, they float in the seawater and are scattered.
